Is there a gasket for the rear bumper

Is there a gasket used on the rear bumper to the body?

I took off my rear bumper for re-chroming. There were remnants of 4 circular gaskets on the body to bumper bracket around the four bolts which go into the trunk. They looked kind of like the round material like anti-acid rings used for battery terminals.

It would seem odd that there is no gasket and that the rear bumper bracket would just attached straight onto the tail panel. Thats why I'm asking before I put it on. In addition, any gasket for the bottom of the bumperette to the rear valance?

Also if anyone knows, my next project is the front bumper, is there any gaskets on there?

If there is suppose to be gaskets, where can I get them from?

Thanks in advance!

they are the same material used on firewal gaskets/seals, and wipers pivots.

No Paint gasket on the front bumper. You should order a paint gasket kit from Year One or Mopar by Crane $38 for 69 Charger. Then you'll have all the gasket!
