The whole flood story thing has taken off, even though it does not appear that any of it is true.  Check this link out:

Doesn't appear to me that he is parting it out. That wing goes to a Superbird not a Daytona.

Why post pictures of the Daytona then? :shruggy:

Because, if you read the ad he said that he had nothing else better to do and it was only an extra 35 cents to post some pics so he posted pics of the daytona

moparstuart

if he was selling it  at several shows this summer why is in the ebay ad does it say not for sale now???
maybe if it's not for sale that makes it more desireable ??

:iagree: He probably put it on there so he can have a thousand people asking him if it's for sale and pull a hlpag and deliver the car in the dark of night

pettybird

i still say the car is totally fixable and would GLADLY trade it for my rusty one...

Ghoste

Nearly anything is fixable.  Is it fixable starting out at 125k just to get the project is more the question.

moparstuart

it looks alot better now the yellow front clip is on it   the green sheet metal was toast
  fixable yes                  worth 125k  no

It's been for sale off and on at prices at the upper end of the scale.   I don't think Tom is really serious about selling it.  I think he likes the car, and it's a nice calling card at the show.

moparstuart

i'm sure it garners alot of attention especially with that price tag on it .

It definitely draws a crowd, that's for sure.

Ghoste

Drives some away too, which isn't always helpful if you have a swap meet space.
