Hey there.Today I was in getting a can of primer,I asked for etching primer. The guy gave my a can of plasti-kote zinc rich cold galvanizing primer. He said it was the same, but after I got home and gave the can a second read I'm not sure. On the front of the can it says covers existing rust provides max rust protection weld through prime.I'm thinking I will take it back, but Id like your two cents Worth.

Ya that's what I got.I got it for some body panels, but I plan to use it some other front end parts instead. But I'm I wrong, etching prime and cold galvanizing(weld through ) prime are too different things.
