Still breaking the motor in mauve. Only have about 60 or so miles on the new motor. Don't worry. That ride is coming. 2thumbs

Thanks guys. The hood will be on next weekend. It's still gonna be ugly, but money has run out for now. Maybe next year I can do something with the hood.

Yes there is mally. I posted the specs in the Proven Engine Combos. I also have an ongoing thread in the Engine, Transmission, Rearend, &Exhaust section.

Yes it does Ron. icon_smile_big Thanks again for all your help in planning this build. And the Firecores are great! 2thumbs

I still have not had a "bug" free ride yet. The last ride we determined the voltage regulator is shot. Once I change that out I think we will have the bugs out of the Bee for now.

Don't push him!  I am proud he has been as conservative as he has been so far and I can see it in his face he wants to  drive!  Yeah it sounds great and as he says we should have the bugs out this Saturday and then we can fire up both cars and find a stretch of road to just CRUISE   2thumbs, I know I am looking forward to it.   drool5

Thanks for the ride.  First time I've rode in a '71 Bee.  The motor sounds smooth.   thumbs

Of course we'll need a video of your headliner from getting on it next time.  Wink
