Rotor Dust Shield - Dust Seal? Source?

Working on front end rebuild for a 1970 dodge charger with front discs...
Pulled of the dust shield to find the white foam type seal on the back side of the shield.  Anybody know exactly what its purpose is?  Is there a source for new ones?  I think its the same type of material used in other places (gasket underneath accelerator pedal, etc.), so maybe find a sheet of something similar and cut it out myself?

Have you checked Autozone /O'reillys/etc.?  I am pretty sure that I saw this and that it was made by Fel-pro.
