Well...    new to me anyway...      it is a 1969 Plymouth Road Runner...    (post model)...     383 4-speed car. Complete minus a few interior trim pieces...     Owner has the car disassembled and the floors removed - but he drove it into the shop it is currently at (close friend of mine) so...    he says it should all be there...       3.23 sure grip, 4-speed, 383...      black exterior, black and white interior...      manual steering manual drum brakes....           just have to wait to go to the bank...

Sounds like something you'll really love when it's back together.  Good choice.  :2thumbs:

so the plan is to restore it back to a stock appearance...         the engine was a 67 block (non numbers matching) and was already +.030" so I just happen to have about 5 383s kicking around...    one of those will go together with a 440 crank...  I could go for a mega-inch stroker but I dont see the point really...    just want a little more than a 383...    The extra cubic inches will help with performance...    I am going to use the stock valve covers, intake, air cleaner, and make it as close to stock appearing as possible (manifolds and all) - so performance will be extremely limited...     I will do alot of work on the heads/intake but in the end they will be stock castings.   Plugging my build into my desktop program it spit out 440hp and 482tq...   I would be happy with that - so yes...    Pics...     ou guys will get some as soon as i take delivery of the thing (holiday weekend is messing with my schedual) but yes...     the only deviation from stock i am thinking is bucket seats instead of a bench and maybe a 3.91 gear set instead of the 3.23's      :scratchchin:

I'd leave the bench in, it's very Road Runner.  :Twocents:

First thing is First - I have to get my charger done...    then i'll have the $$$ and time to restore the RR...    without seeing pictures do you guys think it was a good deal ?   (needs floor pans and trunk replaced which the previous  owner included) - is fairly strait (minor door dings) and was a running driving car when disassembled...     $2,500    :D
