Any of you wing car guys know if these cars still exist? Same seller has all three items for sale;

I don't know any of those cars personally. Maybe Doug does though, or mabye even Dave. I don't really follow the Birds as closely as the Daytona's.

If no one bids what is going to happen to them though? Hmmm, I have a few spare $'s laying around doing nothing.

I'd love to see one of the Wing Car clubs pick those Broadcast Sheets up and hold them until the car/owner surfaces.  Isn't that eBay seller also a member on Moparts?

If nothing else, maybe the seller would pass along the contact info of the engine's buyer in case a connection could be made on down the road sometime.

Well I asked the seller if he was interested in selling both sheets to the Birds as a package. I don't have any use for them, but like Gene said I'd like to see them get back to the right cars. And no better way to do that than give them to the club.

Aero426

U0A179772 build sheet goes to the rough looking white Superbird that was for sale at Monster Mopar in 9/2003.    So that one is definitely still around.

U0A175650 was still alive as of 1986, so it is probably still out there.    This is the engine auction.

The second build sheet 179xxx I cannot track without the J number.

Not necessarily.  I pulled the engine out of my yellow SuperBird (U0A161569) back in 1975 and threw in another 440 without thinking twice about it.  This way the 'Bird was only down for the weekend.  Sold the original engine to a friend, who rebuilt it and stuck it in something else (65 Coronet?).   Nobody cared about 'matching numbers' back in the 70's.  When I sold the 'Bird in 78 or 79, nobody asked if it was the original engine. :shruggy:

Fellow board member Redbird owns my (Actually by brother's and my) Tor-Red SuperBird.  Our Hemi 500 is currently owned by MoparChris, another board member.  The other 3 'Birds (V0A149852, U0A161559, and U0A161569) I have lost all track of.  About 5-6 years ago, somebody in the New England area contacted me, said he had U0A161559, Limelite 'Bird I swapped a Hemi into.  Mailed him some pictures, but I've since lost his name and address.   161569 was lemon twist, 440 4bbl 727, black buckets with console.  Nose was 'ruff' the entire time I owned it.  left 1/4 panel had been replaced before I got it (June, 1974)  Had headers, h-pipe had cut-outs welded in it, the 440 I stuffed into it had a direct connection hemi grind cam.

Anyone interested in buying both of the sheets I think the guy will take $60 for the pair of them and keep them together. Or at least that is what I got in an email.
