I'm needing to clean up some of my engine stuff for install.  Is it possible to powder coat my factory rockers?  I don't want to have a nice new engine and have  junky looking rockers.  Thanks!

You can powder coat anything made of metal that you can paint and it will last much, much longer. So yes. But I've never heard of anyone powder coating rockers. :shruggy:

Neither have I. I'm very familiar with powder coating (been around my uncles shop since I was a kid).  I'm just worried because I know they're friction parts.

i would leave it in bare steel. the metal will absorb a trace of oil that way. if you coat it, the coating WILL wear off and go through the engine.

I don't understand I guess. Why bother powder coating an internal engine part?
