Seems like it was a bit of a deal? I haven't seen one go this low for awhile. Seems like a few minor details are wrong with the resto but overall looks pretty nice!
Was it a known car?

IIRC that one was referred to as the "Spy Daytona" since one of its former owners was a member of the Secret Service (I think).  I'm not at the office so I can't check the spreadsheet to confirm that, but the Skyline Dodge reference rings a bell.  I also think that car was looked over by 3--Daytona while it was undergoing restoration in SW Missouri.  From what I remember I think a couple different shops worked on it.

Looks pretty nice, and the pricetag is certainly not what you'd have expected to see two years ago for sure.

The Don Bradshaw daytona story on mapleleaf mopars mentioned something about a secret service daytona owner.

I was thinking it looked like the car that Troy was trying to trade his HEMI Charger and Dana for about a year ago. Out of California.

Nascarxx29, which daytona is the secret service daytona?(I didn't see it on the MLM site) Is it one of the canadian VIN's?

nascarxx29

keep me in mind if he came across anything interesting for sale. About a week later, he called me back and asked if I was interested in a Daytona project. Seems he had one in the corner of his shop, covered with a tarp, for the last 10-12 years. It belonged to a friend who was a Secret Service Agent in Maryland, who was planning on having him restore it over time. ( Although I now know the former owner's name, I've never met him or spoken with him on the phone. How's that for

hey nascarxx29, is #402974 a 440 car? The info I have shows it as a hemi car shipped to Hollywood Dodge. This was from a shipment list someone posted a while back, I personally don't know the car.

That's the "Keith Black" Hemi Daytona, last I heard it was owned by the Downings in CA.  I think there are some pictures of it already posted on the site, it was Y2 originally IIRC.

I would say that it is hiding. It is out there, not sure if it still wears the same paint scheme or not, but I know that it did for a very long time.

Only thing I noticed in that picture is the one Daytona without a tail stripe.
