I was perusing some web sites and found this ad in Hemmings http://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/carsforsale/dodge/charger/566176.html. It is right next door to me (I could jog to where it is, most likely). If you need someone to look at it (assuming it is for real...call the number  ::)) I'd be willing.

Would that be the same Daytona that underwent an almost under night paint color change a few years ago?

hemigeno

That was a T5 car, which had been painted white.  I think the T5 car is in OK now, and on the move (for sale again, anyway).

This is the car I was mentioning to Troy in another thread.  I went to talk to the guy about it, and he gave me a set of pictures of it.  He has it stored somewhere else, about an hour away, so I never got to see it in person.  I was going to call him again about it, but haven't done so, mainly because I don't have the funds to do anything right now (and would prefer a C500 anyway).  I can strike up a conversation with him again if anyone is interested, and maybe try to get him to show the car this time.  As I recall, he said it didn't have a title, which was somewhat worrysome, and the place he stores it is on a lot in a shipping container (like the kind you see on a big cargo ship).  It's been in there for a long time, but supposedly still runs, but has a hole in the gas tank.  Although it looked to be decent in the pictures, my guess is it needs a nearly complete resto, or at least a lot of $$$ upfront to get it road worthy again.

Yeah, I'm sure he just wants the cash.  If I wait long enough, he might get desperate.  ;)  I'll give him a call sometime soon, though.
