Hey.  I was just was reading another thread about a guy taking some cars out of his basement. It reminded me of a story I heard a wile back. As some of you know. A few years ago I sold my 66 HEMI charger to a guy in KY. He was telling me a story about a guy that he knows there in or around KY that has a Daytona sitting in his basement. If I remember. The car was blue. Its been along time as I sold the charger in 2000. But it seems like he told me it was a HEMI car. My car went to Florence, KY. It seems that he said the Daytona was an hour or so from him. The guy that I sold my HEMI charger to also had a daily driver 68 R/T charger and a 69 R/T if I remember correctly. Just wondering if anyone knows about the Daytona in the basement?
I'm smarter than I act, But I don't act smarter than I am.

I think I know exactly which Daytona you're referring to...... I talked to him a while back ago about a possible trade for it against my '68 Hemi Charger R/T... Since he wasn't interested in a project, nothing ever came of it............. That's pretty much all I know though......

Daytona in the basement? I think Rick E had one under wraps for sometime .Another daytona was C Pendergast it was in primer when it was last on on ebay . A friend had a daytona apart and hanging in his barn  in KY.The car used to belong to T Waters.I seen it many years ago but I sure hes still working on it.

Rick E's Daytona was in the basement for ever. That is until after he sold it.
