How many of you have ever bought any of those Danbury Mint diecasts?  I considered the 69 Charger 500 they had a while back but it seemed like a lot of money for a 1:24.

My local menard's has 66 chargers in red and silver, need to get one of those only like $17.00

Never....  way too much $ IMHO.    I have a Franklin Mint Petty Superbird that cost a lot but I got it off ebay for half of what it listed for.   Only other thing I have that cost more than that is a 1/24 Elite Earnhardt Daytona 500 winner car.
I really don't collect much  1/24 -  I'd rather go 1/18.

Meanwhile  Johnny Lightning is getting into the 1/18's soon... they announced a '69 Charger and some other chebbie.
I had to edit the pic to remove the chebbie  :icon_smile_big:

I think the Franklin and Danbury Mint models are worth the price. The level of detail is amazing. Here's my collection:

That NAPA 70 bears an awfully strange resemblance to a 68.  BTW, the Danbury/Franklin Mint cars are very worth the money when you consider the detail and build quality.
