you can't imagine how this pic helps on know HOW THE WATER DRAINS OUT OF THAT SECTION OF QUARTER!!!!

where you got those panels ? home made ? closer pics will be lot helpfull. please email me with these or any closer pic!!!

MAN... I would love to get room to make everything by myself!! I'm tired of those guys who still call BODYMAN down here, but all what I have is a rented parking place

how did you finally weld the outer skin on that area ?

 scope
If you go back to reply #13, that will give you an overall look of how I welded the outer skin to the rocker panel. I cut that section of rocker panel off my parts car and I tied it onto mine. The low areas that touch the piece of angle iron is where I spot welded the skin to the rocker. I will post more pics of that tomorrow.

Here are a couple more pics to show you where the weld points and the water drain points are located.

It's been awhile since I looked at this thread and I want to thanks everyone for the positive replies.
Progress on the car has been slow for the past couple of months due to other matters that had to be taken care of but I'm back on it now. Here's a few pics of the left rear quarter that I finished this morning.

Last set.
Right side had the same repair done to it. Should have it finished in about 2 weeks.

Shocked  You sir are doing a damn fine job with your metal work.

Doesnt the quarter panel seam need to be fully welded though?

Thanks for your replies.

Its normally recommended if your doing patch replacements at the bottom of the panel to prevent water from getting through but not up at the upper body line. Staggering the tack welds reduces panel warping but you have to be careful.

Thanks Rudy.

My garage is only 18 x 20. It barely fits in. There's only 8 inches of space behind the car when the doors are closed.
