After just a filter change in a A904 trans. how much fluid is needed to refill approximately?
I just drained my fluid and found just over a gallon came out.
I dont trust my dipstick because it looks like someone cut it short so I'm just wondering how much fluid would be in the ballpark.

Pulled this from the Amsoil website, there is still some fluid in the tranny so it should be around 4 quarts

Automatic Transmission, Initial Fill..........4.0 quarts[2]
Automatic Transmission, Total Fill
    ex lockup A727..........8.6 quarts
    ex lockup A904..........8.8 quarts
    lockup A727..........8.4 quarts
    lockup A904..........8.6 quarts
