"Time is such a funny thing" sung by Marjorie McCoy She had one album and it was called "I am Marjorie McCoy" That was the only incidental song in the movie. DMCL had no soundtrack. On a side note, I think Susan George is quite possibly the worst actress I've ever seen. v/r Mike

IMO a role like that usually doesn't reveal much about acting ability one way or the other. I thought she came off as believably real in the movie.
Whether I liked the character or not . . . that's a different issue.

Pretty sure it was the same song . I've been known to be wrong from time to time though.

It isn't the theme song. I've tried for some time to find out what the song is but so far nothing. It's a generic sort of 1970 pop instrumental. I know the spot you mean where she's scat singing with the tune and Larry laughs and tells Deke to cheer up and she stops singing to tell him as well to cheer up and starts calling him Bunkie and he makes the fake smile.

I'll have to watch the movie again, but the research i've done in the past points to only one(1) incidental song in the entire movie and that is "Time is such a funny thing" as I mentioned above. It is the theme song and it is heard on the radio in the movie at one point. If in fact the song in the movie that gordo is asking about is not, in fact, Marjorie McCoy's "Time" then it is not a real song at all and Ghoste is absolutely correct that it is a crappy 70's instru that no one will ever find because there is no soundtrack and Time was the only real song in the movie as I stated. Does that make sense at all? v/r Mike

It does but there are a LOT of songs out there. I have yet to establish if the song I am talking about is some obscure release that I cannot as yet place or if it's just a group of studio musicians hired to do that one bit. I lean to the obscure part since the movie was such a low budget release I really can't imagine them hiring some guys to create 15 seconds of incidental background music.

I guess it would be easier to identify if Susan wasn't so unintelligible when she was, as you very well put it, scat singing.
