It was parked next to what looked like a small junkyard in a small town (maybe about 350 people) off I-5 in Northern CA, less than 1hr from the Oregon border, kinda out in the middle of nowhere. Overall, looked pretty solid, but would need alot of work.

Saw this at work today.... kind of

Was up in NY today for a snowmobile swap meet, saw this nice 73 at the gas pump in front of me when I pulled in.  Owner said it had a 360 magnum engine put in it at some point.

Saw a maroon '68 Sunday on Highway 29 heading towards Clear Lake in California (coming from Hwy 20). It was maroon, black vinyl top, not an R/T. Belong to someone here? :shruggy: looked to be in great shape.

No photo, I was going the other way and couldn't get my phone up in time. Plus I was in shock to see another 2nd gen in the wild. Doesn't happen often enough...

Found this while driving to work ,stopped by to check it out and it turns out the owner is the manager of the body shop ...said he painted it yellow so his wife wouldn't take it in a divorce.

Where do you live Chris? I'm in Sonoma County  :2thumbs:

I live in Redding, but grew up in Sebastopol. Still have family in Sebastopol and Windsor, so I'm down there periodically.

Good Detective Work Fitz!!! I still see a few around San Diego but never have the camera ready.  It's much easier when they are stopped somewhere.

Saw a Charger Saturday on my way home from a Cub Scout hike with my son.

Later that afternoon, I saw a 70 Superbee while out cruising my 68.  Was too quick an encounter to get a pic, but we both gave each other the thumbs up!   :2thumbs:
