i was going to go with new wheels and tyres this year but i m skint,so i m just going to freshen the engine with a new cam,as its a relatively easy and cheap upgrade.
engine is mainly stock but runs strong,i have a 2800 turbo action torque converter,4:10 gears with gear vendor.
engine is a 383(iron heads) with 4 barrel holley 750 cfm carb.i also have power brakes.

All you plan on changing is the cam ?   Try Engle K56/K58 on a 110lsa - should give you more low end torque as well as upper HP
1968 Dodge Charger - 6.1L Hemi / 6-speed / 3.55 Sure Grip

2013 Dodge Challenger R/T - 5.7L Hemi / 6-speed / 3.73 Limited Slip

1964 Dodge Polara 500 - 440 / 4-speed / 3.91 Sure Grip

1973 Dodge Challenger Rallye - 340 / A-518 / 3.23 Sure Grip

Generally speaking you want to keep the lift under .510 unless the heads have been modified for additional guide to retainer clearance. The Engle K56 will drop right in with no Head modifications.  :2thumbs:

You might have to swap out your valvesprings, depending on what is currently installed in your heads. The Comp Cams #911 springs will work work fine with that cam and drop right onto your heads without any machining or retainer changes.

Yes that is the correct lobe profile. Tell them you want the k56 intake and k56 exhaust lobe on a 110 LSA ground with 4* advance. The installed centerline will be 106* once you degree the cam in (which i highly recommend)
