My financial advisor has advised me to stop buying stuff...for now. That's why I no longer talk about buying a bird. ;D

My wife is all for buying a bird. It's my "real" financial advisor that says no. I'm going to listen to him for a change.

This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

Look how the nose and lower fender extensions were molded to the fenders.  I'm surprised how many of these cars were done that way.

The leaded nose is pretty common for the times.

The ask on the car is 73k.   It's in the next DSAC newsletter.

There were some good deals at that sale, for sure.   Keep in mind that those are just the hammer prices.    If you add the 8% buyers fee in, here's what you get for true prices:
red white & blue custom paint car: $70,200  (this was his tow car!!)
yellow car: $99,360
B5 car: $92,880
orange car: $88,020
orange car #2 $91,800

It was probably to the buyers benefit that five Birds were all in the same sale.   It was an estate liquidation.

Yep, could be, especially on real Birds with incorrect engines, wrong colors, hoods.   We shall see.     For the most part, the asking prices of many cars are still in 2006 dreamland.

If you look and have the cash in hand Driver quality cars can be had , and yes many are still priced in dream land but not selling. Of course the nice cars and better optioned cars should sell in the 100-125 plus  range . Cash is tight and people are even tighter with there money right now on high ticket items .
