I think that the write up for the dealership, is trying to imply that the other Green HEMI Daytona they have is the rarest 4 speed Daytona produced. Then again, of all the 26 known HEMI Daytona's how many of them are actually 4 speeds? What 11-12? Aren't they all 1 of 1. I mean even the 2 X9 Black HEMI Daytona's are both 1 of 1 due to different interior colors.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Ahhhhh  I did not know there were two black hemi daytonas. very interesting.  when I lived in the san fernando valley from 81 to 88 There was a guy who restored a brown c 500 and it was a rusted piece that got new quarters floor etc. do you or anyone else know the Characky's   john and mark.   theyre good friends and man what a collection of cars n goodies they have ,  anyway  mark sold a rusted c-500 about 6 years ago to a fella in enumclaw washington. I think its still sitting unrestored.   thanks      Tom

I know the people who bought the rusty C500 up in Eumclaw washington. If I look hard enough around here I could come up with their names. A nice couple. Met them at the Mopar nationals 4 years ago when I was there with my 500.

I got this name somewhere ( phil king )  he supposedly makes nos looking s-bird rear window trim. 404-431-3612   never called him though  ever heard of him . or anyone else reproducing this  most difficult part??

Does anybody know what the original color was (besides the generic description of red). Of the five hemi's shipped to Canada two were pratically identical  (4-spd, non-console, black bucket) to this one except V2 in color.

I think that Gene may have the information on the "Red" HEMI Daytona that is mentioned on that page. I think that the last time I talked to him, he mentioned that he knew about the car. Not sure if that meant that he knew which one it was, or just that they had picked it up and were thinking of putting it up on the market.

not wanting to hijack but just curious 69 500 if you ever dug up any info on the car we talked about last year ?

No vin info has been confirmed.By older records do show a 426 Daytona in CA Roger Zitney. It was either 368573 or 358397

Now that I DO know more on this Daytona, I'm dissapointed - what are these guys thinking? You *might* could get half that, but even then one would be over half a mil into it after a decent restoration...  Nice to know it exists, but sucks I could never get my hands on it...

Wow  what a car! I sure wish my dad had loaned me the 20 grand to get it, in my mind it is the ultimate car. I have tried to search for more pics to no avail.  he must be loaded though . I did hear the resto is nothing to note , but could be wrong. I have a 383 cuda convert basket case I better get going on. I have a 340 cuda platform I was going to use to restore the floorboards but now that they are available i want to make the hardtop into a convert seeing it is cut off anyway. Thank you so much for the pics !!!!
