I am going to buy some new tires and I can't figure out which ones to get. I am kinda leaning towards the 325/50's. I have 29x12.50x15 sportsmans on it now, and the 325/50 would be close but an inch shorter. I am not sure if the 275's would be big enough. I have 10" rims,  any pictures would be great and pics of 325/50's would be extra special.
Thanks
Josh

if you plan/have mini-tubbed the car to fit tyres that big, get a set of 15.5 Hoosiers, if you like bias-ply though they dont grip as good or last as long as radials (they do look good though), get the 15" wide sportsman Pros. Otherwise, 325 is biggest you plan on going, do that. 275 = too narrow.

Type in google "Hoosier Pro Street"

You will find some cars with 18.5" wide etc, you can judge off that what you like for an approximation on size and look.

stock wheel wells and no plans for tubs. The 12.50's on it now are wide enough for me. think I may go with the 325's
anybody have any pics of a charger with 325/50's??

G-man

Il see if i can find some for you with 325's but I dont think they would fit.  :shruggy:

I run 325/50-15 Drag Radials on my ride. Stock wheel wells. Rear rim is 10" wide, 5" backspacing AND the SS springs, Im not shore that you can run this set of tires with stock springs. I have over 1" room on both sides, no rubbing...

I have super stock springs and 10" wide rims with 4.75" back space. I measured my current tires this morning. They have a 13" section and are 29" tall so I dont see a problem fitting theese.  I ordered a set of M/T et streets in 325/50/15 from Mccormick (sp)? racing today. pretty good price and free shipping.
Are you using the upper or the lower hole on your front hangers? got any pics other than the one in your sig?

Doug (R2) had those same tires (325/50) on his 69 rt/se with SS springs but has since gone to a taller 295/65/15 drag radial....the 325's will fit.  :yesnod:

looks good,
I wanted those M&H racemaster tires that are on mefirsts 70. They have a 12 1/2" section width,  but when I checked them on Summit they were $345.00 each!!! I paid $420.00 for 2 et streets delivered to my house.
I am going to put my springs in the upper mount on the front hanger and I will post some pics. I have tried the 295/65 and they rubbed so I made some spacers. I wish I could get a 28" tall by 12" section width drag radial!!

Ryan

Agreed, the 325 50 15 will fit. But you need a 5" b.s. on the wheels. I have been running them for a long time now.

10 inch rim should use no more than a 275mm wide tire.  However others will get on here and tell you that you can put the 325 on there....so your car your choice.

A 10 inch rim is 12 inch wide. I run 295 on 8 inch rim.

Do those 325 rub on the inside around corners its a wide tyre for the car.
