Went out for some fun yesterday  :D :D
Since we only live once, and all this is not just a dressed rehearsal, but the real thing............ Well, enjoy it!!!!

Here you go Rolf, but you need a better camera!  ;)

A few of powerslides on the wet pavement is always fun.   :2thumbs:

Better question: When are you going to post the video?!?!?!  :drool5:

suntech

Quotemovie??  how do you get a movie on to your computer??

You see guys, i am an idiot with stuff like that!!!! My dauther filmed me taking a couple of laps, and i got it on the computer. The problem is that it ended up as a big file, app 35 mb, and my daughter took off for the weekend. I have no freak´n idea of how to downsize the file :brickwall:
What i did, to make the pictures, was simply to play the movie on the computer, and used my phone to take a picture of the computer screen, as it was playing!! This is how it ends up, with a dumbass on the computer!! :2thumbs:

Anyways, we had fun, and i have a few clips with "inspired" driving that i will show you as soon as i get it fixed! :2thumbs:
Since we only live once, and all this is not just a dressed rehearsal, but the real thing............ Well, enjoy it!!!!

suntech

And if i dont get it fixed, i will do it again, on dry pavement, with a different camera.
Just need a little more speed.....right?   :D :D

No sweat. Whenever you get the chance to sort it out. We'll still be here.  :2thumbs:

There are programs that will convert the video and make it smaller, etc.. but I've found that it's difficult to find one program that'll cover everything you want to do. cucusoft.com has a converter that has got to be one of the easier programs though - my brother figured it out, so.... it can't be that tough.  :P Converting it to something intended for the iPod usually gets the file in to something small enough to upload to the like of YouTube or streetfire.net, etc...

Just a note about the pictures though: you can just take a snapshot of your screen using the computer instead of a camera.
When you get the scene that you want, hit the Print Screen button - sometimes labelled PrtScrn or something similar and whatever is on the screen at that moment will be copied as an image to the clipboard of your computer. So, you could pause the video exactly where you want it and take a print screen... voila!

You can then open up an image program (or an e-mail message or anything that will take a "paste") and paste it into an image file using the program's edit menu or pressing the CTRL-V key combo. Save the file and then you can post it just like you did the file that you got from the camera. If you don't have an image editor, I'd suggest irfanview.com and others here have suggested other good programs as well.

Go with what you like best and have some fun!

I think it would be very unlikely that anything would come of it.

I wish we had roundabouts, they are so much fun.

Hemidog

That looks like fun!
In Norway we prefer to use roundabouts instead of intersections.

69*F5*SE

We have a couple roundabouts in my area of Michigan just north of Detroit.  Great video by the way.    :drive:
