Well it does say that they will be posting pictures and the fender tag information a little later. I can't think of a green HEMI 500 down in that area of FL. Might be a new one to me.

Yikes!   Those sure aren't 14 inch wheels on it now.  He said 18 inch in the ad but I still get shocked whenever I see I set of those monsters.  My apologies to anyone who has them on their car, it's just my personal taste and thats all.

WingCharger

Looks like a solid 500. Has all the info correct in the ad too. :yesnod: :drool5:

Ah yes now I recognize the car. This particular car was at Carlisle last year. If anyone remembers. I recognize the passenger side of the car, as well as the engine compartment. However the car wasn't wearing a fender tag when it was at Carlisle. Which reminds me to call the guy to talk about a Superbird as well.

Car is a fairly early car as well, really close to the car that Carl has. Car came out of Arizona if I remember correctly. Not sure if it was numbers matching or not, as I don't remember being able to get far enough under the car to read the side of the engine. Troy, and Gene will surely remember the car. I think that Gene was over there looking at the car for a good hour with me. I know my 5 year old recognized the car as "The green 500 that you looked at forever at the Mopar show with Gene".  :nana:

Was just looking back at the approximately 150 pictures I took of the car, and it appears that the engine pad is blank where the VIN would be stamped.

Yes - '70 B-Body Hemi (Not E-Body) could come with 14" wheels. '69 Hemi's - 15" Only

Just 6T9 CHGR

Here are a few other pics from Carlisle showing its "survivor" status ;)
Like Danny said it didnt have a tag at Carlsile....anyone have tag info yet?

I tried calling him yesterday afternoon. I got his cell phone number when we were there at Carlisle but only got a voicemail yesterday. I"ll try again tomorrow, don't wanna pester on Easter holiday if they have family plans. The gentleman who owns the car was very nice when we were there at Carlisle. He did say that me and Gene were a bit weird though in the amount of time we looked his car over.

That's not the only time we've heard that though... :P

I found a socket wrench they had lost though - it had been dropped down inside the front valance and had apparently been there for a while.

says original 14 " road wheels  :scratchchin:  Can't be if its a J  code :shruggy:

As far as this Hemi 500 coming with 14" wheels, I wonder how they know for sure since they do not have the build sheet. I'm not trying to say there wrong but I would have to say there is a much better chance that it would have been built with 15" wheels unless someone special ordered it with the road wheels. I have seen a a couple A12 Bee's & RR's with Road Wheels but am not 100% positive they really came from the factory or Creative that way. Although it is possible that the dealer may have installed. Danny & Gene, when you saw this beast, did you see anything to show what size wheels it would have came with? Thanks

P.S. Even with 14" wheels, I would sure love to have this fine machine sitting next to my F8 500 in the garage. In case my wife is watching this post, I can easily make room for it.

I didn't see anything to indicate that the car came with 14" wheels originally. Like I said though he didn't even have the fender tag with him at Carlisle, so all we could do was look at the car. It isn't that bad of a car, but I didn't personally see anything that said it was a 14" car to begin with. Now it was wearing 14" wheels on it when we were there at Carlisle though, but that doesn't mean anything as far as how it was from the factory.

If I remember right, one of the people had said that they thought it was the last HEMI 500 built, until it was noted that there was another HEMI 500 at the same show that had a VIN 100,000 digits higher.

A12's could be ordered with any wheel you wanted, as long as they were black, 15" H-wheel steelies with chrome lug nuts.  ;D

Anything else would be a dealer or owner conversion.
