What color you going to paint your Charger when you eventually get around to it?

Update.... Let me know what you think of the new color... I know the pic it not the best, my camera wont get off night mode.

doctor4766

Phwoar that looks great My68!!!!

Made a little change today myself.
Decided to see how the Charger looks with a white stripe instead so an hour or so later......
viola, a white stripe!

Not sure it'll stay yet as I'm rather partial to the black stripe but when it's only an hour's work, I can always change it back.

I like the white stripe, I think it looks better than black.

My68!

That color looks great!  I want to see how that looks in the sunlight! (whole car!)

The white stripe does look good.. I bet it'll grow on ya and you'll like it as much as the black one..

doctor4766

Yeah, we'll see.
Fortunately I'm in a position to change it whenever I like.

Heres a couple pics from a local car show yesterday.  :2thumbs:

I like the white stripe, so much in fact I'm thinking of buying one off you  ....

Why not change the R/T in the stripe to something like "01" for something different?

sixty8charger

I think the Charger needs the chrome bumpers...  That black one is nice, but.. it just looks like it is missing something.  speaking of bumpers, i need mine rechromed. Anyone know a good place in Easter North Carolina?

Is it just an illusion? Or is this Charger slightly wide bodied at the wheel wells?
68 Charger R/t white with black v/t and red tailstripe. 440 4 speed ,black interior
68 383 auto with a/c and power windows. Now 440 4 speed jj1 gold black interior .
My Charger is a hybrid car, it burns gas and rubber............

1968_Charger

Its not any wider than normal, must be the angle. I will say I'm getting ready to put some bigger tires on the rear though.

As for the bumpers, i like them. i think they give it a more aggressive look. I know I've seen threads debating chrome vs. painted, so i thought I would see what people think.

nvrbdn

im on the "like the painted bumpers on this car " side. looks so smooth this way.  good job :2thumbs:
