Picking up Mr. Bronson after a year-long rest following his trip from the states :-)

'70 Charger 500, 318/904/4 corner drums car originally. No engine, no transmission, no 'lectrics, front end crooked as a virginia fence, holes in the floor on both sides of the trans tunnel....

New floors welded in, front end rebuilt (UCA's from Firm feel, stock ones were SHOT), brakes redone, new axle spacer fabbed for the left side (8 3/4 out of a '66, sure grip!), new electrical system (stem to stern for 500 bucks) 440 shortblock is done and just about ready to drop in. I've been living in and under this damn shitbox for two months now, I dare say it's coming along nicely
Apparently it was once white with black interior, fairly rare if i'm not mistaken?
(Yeah, I named it Bronson. Old, kinda crusty but still mean as hell :D
Proud member of the jack stand racing team since 1999.
'70 Charger 500: "Bronson", some kind of hillbilly hot rod in progress.
'89 Chevy Caprice 9C1: "it's got a cop motor..."

Mines a floor shift  727 TF with 8 3/4 3.23 in the rear, just put new MoPar HD T bars and rear springs under there too. Next is 11 3/4 disk brake swap and 145K torque converter.

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?
