Its some black base coat we had around here at the shop, sprayed it on to find all the high and low spots.I've been welding, spripping, grinding etc on this car for three years .It feels nice to be at this point now because i'm done all that,I never thought at the time it was going to be that long and still going to be another good year.I put all new frame rails, floor, trunk floor looks really nice under there now, kind of happy to see.

Well I'm not sure if you guys heard or not but my dad passed away a couple weeks ago.
The Melenoma cancer got him this time. Wasn't much they could do for him. It was just too extensive and fast moving when they found it.
In tribute I drove my car down to the chapel at McChord Airforce base to transport his ern from the funeral to the Tahoma National Cemetary grounds.
When I was on the base I drove the charger over to where my dad's airplane (c-124) sits on the field area so I could get a good picture of the charger with my dads airplane behind it that he flew for years and years. Pretty cool they actually have it out on the field for all to see these days.
Attached is a pic

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

The70RT

Sorry to hear that. It's cool to have his plane out there like that. :2thumbs: Did the Lizard get a lot of miles on it over the summer?
