Hi
I´m Markus from Blackforest, located in the southwest of Germany near the Swiss/France border. I got to know about your great site   in the fbbo forum.
I had my first look onto a mopar muscle in the late nineties and some visits of german mopar meeting (Moparshop) followed. I finally found my mopar in winter 2007/2008 and bought it about half a year later for getting it trough technical inspection (TUEV) and get historic license plates. Since then I do all whats neccesary to keep it on the road.
cheers

Markus

SA_440RT

Hi everyone. Great site!

I am a Mopar fan from South Africa and have a 71 Charger RT (WS23) (440 Magnum 4bbl, auto, Hidden headlights, ac, ps, disc brakes, headlight washers and many more options.  All Chargers are very rare here although there are a few 2nd gen and 3rd gen around, this is the only 71 RT I know of in South Africa.

I am looking forward to starting restoration soon.

Hi all, I'm Neil and I'm new here. I'm a Canuck in Puerto Rico and am trying to collect/rescue as many Mopars as I can down here. Here's a few pics of the 72 I just bought. It hasn't made it home yet, but the day is getting closer.

And a shot of one of my other rescues beside my 06 Daytona

So are you taking the Mopars with you when you move back to Canada or just saving what you find while in Puerto Rico?

I'm not going back to Canada. I got married down here last year so I'm here for good now. My wife turned into a Mopar fan so she's all for picking up whatever we can. I bought a 73 Duster 340/auto car for her that I'm going to paint Panther Pink with flat black hood when I get finished with the body work.

Ok

Not the same but my former boss was from Cuba & he was one sharp car guy, because he had to be. No such thing as PepBoys in Cuba so he rebuilt EVERYTHING on his 50 something Mopar. How is getting parts for you.....is the shipping high?

Nice cars & I look forward to your projects.

getting parts here hasn't been too bad yet. I have an Auto Zone within 5 minutes, a Pep Boys 5 minutes in the other direction, and an Advanced Auto Parts right across the road from them. The Cuda has been pretty easy to find parts for so far and I have a friend with a gen 3 Charger sitting in the field next to his house that I plan on getting everything I can from. I found a guy last week that has a warehouse full of Mopar stuff that I'm planning on shopping in too. So far I haven't had to get anything shipped here, but since it's part of the US I don't think it's too high.

Hi guys (my first posting),
Last month moved the 69 out of my garage to so I could get my ski equipment out, took this picture after a quick, entertaining ride around the neighborhood on salt free ice & snow. :icon_smile_blackeye:.
