Two cars I wish I had kept......

1) 1964 Buick Skylark, 225 V6, auto trans, white with blue interior

2) 1968 Pontiac Firebird, 250 OHC six, 4bbl carb, 3spd manual trans on floor, green with green interior

I wish I still had my 68.  383 car with column auto, perfect candidate for a non stock resto.  Yeah that one was originally green as well.   :lol:

I'm glad i have my 70 R/T over this one but still wished it was still around.

70 duster 340 4 speed FM3 car. Motor was a replacement but #'s trans fendertag ext. She was real ripe said noway this one can be saved. Sold it back in the early 2000's
Thinking back it wasn't a whole lot worse shape rust wise than my charger.

Oh well

Sold it for $6k it needed everything.

It would be a tough decision between one of my two High School cars:
1970 Plymouth Superbird  (426/4-speed)
or
1970 Challenger RT/SE, Triple Black, loaded with every option but a sunroof (440 4bbl/Auto)

I would almost have to go with the Challenger as it was the car I had the most fun with
(read that as the car I got in the most trouble with) 

*But then it was a different time, and I too am different...
(*at least that was what people would say about me when I drove the Superbird)

The car I regret letting go is a 57 Chrysler 300C.  I bought the car in the early 70s for $300 and enjoyed it for 10yrs. 
This car was in a new car show in 57 in San Francisco.  A guy bought it for his wife from the show cause she flipped over it.
(He may have liked it too)
It had the 392 Hemi stock two 4bl   And even had a Hi way Hi Fi. factory record player. I sold it for $1700 :slap:

I don't really regret selling any of the cars I've sold. I do regret buying quite a few though. I bought way too many project cars. 14 Chargers, 2 Duster 340s, a Super Bee, and a few trucks. Over the last couple years I've been selling off as much as I could, keeping a select few. All my past daily drivers have been put out to pasture. I've driven all of them into the ground.
WANTED: NOS or excellent condition 72-74 4 speed shifter boot for bench or centre armrest car, part number 3467755. It's a rubber boot that looks like it's sewn up leather.

WANTED: My original 440 blocks. Serial # 2A188182 and 3A100002

I know its sacrilege but of all of them I wish i'd kept my 1975 LH torana SL/R 5000  had 37000k when I got it in 79 went like a scalded cat and drove like it was on rails

my best car i bought was a  1935 ford and the second was a new  1956 mercury convertable black and yellow.

How did I miss this one when it came around the first time. Probably the one I got the most comments on was a low mile 72 Riviera I had. I bought it from the original owner. His son had blown up the original 455 and had pulled it to get it rebuilt then left it at the machine shop probably 10 years earlier. I bought it, had it repainted and put another engine in it. This pic is not the one I had but if you take off these dorkey wheels and put on the original magnums it could be a twin sister.

Lot's of them....mostly another 70 Charger, 71 RR, and a 69 GTS 340 4spd Dart I had. This is a Buick GS I use to own.

Love these things.   Unfortunately many of them have been 'donked' by people who shouldn't be allowed to own these cars in teh first place.

I'd go back and get this rust bucket, I wish I still had it.  My mom bought it for me before she died, and I was too much of a bonehead to realize that I'd be sentimental about it 20 years later.

Probably this one: A 68 Dart I picked up real cheap and slipped a worked over 440 into. In slant 6 "before" condition it weighed at 3060lbs, and in 440 "after" condition at 3100lbs. And that was with no fiberglass, iron heads, steel rims and a roll cage in it. The front hood was rigged to flip forward and was just a skin with some tube bracing added. I kept the 9" brakes all around adapting them to the 8-3/4 axle (yes it's possible). Went like hell, but there was no stopping it.

I scrounged and bought nearly everything used. I think the only new parts were the rear tires, roll cage tubing, and fire extinguisher. The cheapest parts deal I found was Torker Intake and Holley 750 DP for $20!

The funny thing is that I finished this car just prior to Hot Rod Magazine/Frieburger's famous articles in attempting to build a 12-second 68 440 Dart for less than $1200. I beat him to it and then some, and unlike his, my transmission tailshaft wasnt banded in place with worm clamps   :lol:

This was a really fun car and project and I wish I had never traded it for a 70 383 Charger, which I later sold anyway.

1974 Jaguar E-type.  Not the most desirable year but pretty hard to complain about this car.  I bought it while living in Manchester, UK for a ridiculously low amount and got an offer for it while still on the trailer 30 minutes after getting home with it.  I simply could not refuse the offer so the car went straight to the new owner.  Someone in my sub now has a British racing green E-type and it's hard not to drool all over the place when it comes by.

My next car will be a Delorean though.
