I wouldn't put that on my car, but it doesn't look all that bad. They did a nice job. I wonder if it's painted or a decal.

That would be a large decal to install :Twocents:.My friend had a B5 blue superbird had a sheet of this refrigerator type magnet material painted B5 with Richard Petty on it.Couldnt tell it stayed on the car driving .And at shows it came right off

To me, a car that is already as over the top and identifiable by all as the Superbird hardly needs something like that on the hood.  Leave the giant hood birds to the Pontiacs.

But of course, it isn't my car so my opinion isn't worth much.

I call the Trans AM hood bird Super chicken. :Twocents:

Not my idea of style. Just because something can be done doesn't mean it should be done. :Twocents:

Time for a new monitor maybe. It's the great Petty Blue on all three screens that I've seen it on.

Having thought about it for 2 days, still don't like the decal. It's like slapping a big sign on the Sistine Chapel that says "This is the Sistine Chapel!". It's too much. :Twocents:

the hood doesn't match the fenders or nose--I wonder if it's a second one.

Went to Sarasota car museum today to revisit this bird and try to get the VIN. It was there 2 years ago when I last went but it is no longer there now and the tour guy did not know anything about it. Museum had 1, count em, 1 Mopar-a Hellcat. It does have Don Garlits swamp rat dragster though from 1974 I think-it still even has carbon on the exhaust tubes and all of the old stickers.

Does have a bunch of Italian stuff, a Thunderbolt, a Boss 429 a couple of those Isetta things and some other nice cars. Cost about $10 so it was a fair price.

It's ok, I like it somewhat. Not necessarily something I'd do.   Not great, but not terrible either.

Then again, if only 10 of each color came from the factory with this, most of us would love to barn find one. :icon_smile_blackeye:

It'd  be like,... hamburger miracle whip.

The hood graphics are okay.  So no one knows the car? VIN?
