I've seen so many variations in text, it's crazy... (All claiming to be "Correct" for '69)...  I think I know what a factory one looks like but want to be sure...

Here is my cap...supposed to be the correct reproduction with the two ears.
1968 Charger 383 auto
1969 Charger R/T 440 4 speed
1970 Charger 500 440 auto
1972 Challenger 318
1976 W200 Club Cab 4x4 400 auto
1978 Ramcharger 360 auto
2001 Durango SLT 4.7L (daily driver)
2005 Ram 2500 4x4 Big Horn Cummins Diesel 6 speed
2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 5.7 Hemi

Here's a pic I swiped of the basic differences in styles.  In addition to the basic differences between the years, there are some very fine points that distinguish reproduction caps from OEM / NOS caps.  There was a thread I saw on Moparts in the A12 forum about a month ago that gave some detailed information comparing the repops to the original ones, but I couldn't find the thread just now when I looked.

If you really need, I can take some digitals of the NOS cap I bought.

Just 6T9 CHGR

I had that repro 69 style cap (a few actually)   all leaked....total crap

Bought an NOS 70-74 style pretty cheap and works beautifully......works perfectly with my Modine radiator (cant afford the correct rad right now....

dont tell anyone OK? ;)
