Sorry, I know it's no Charger, but I thought you guys might be able to help.

I'm looking for a solution for my Coronet's headliner problem. The headliner is made of compressed cardboard (about 1/8" thick) and held up by a two-piece system, the backside is made of metal, the lower side of plastic. The plastic part is the problem, it cracks whenever you touch it but as it snaps onto the metal section there's a lot of force needed to get it off and on.

I wonder if you guys in the US would know of a supplier who still sells systems like this or if someone would have any idea what to use instead.

Any ideas?

The ceiling panel from a van or Suburban? Sectioned and fit would work. Then just recover it. You can even leave the lights, speakers, air, etc..  :scratchchin:

Yeah, the same stuff was used in Vans right into the 80's.
