Post your one favorite picture. It can be yours or someone elses car, a vintage Nascar photo...anything.

Here is mine.
"An aggressive exterior with power to match was enough to pull in the performance boys-especially when abetted by a pair of pipes blaring out the back, and brawny red-sidewall rubber hitting the pavement."

Good choice. I love the old black and white photos the most.

Who is behind the wheel in that pic?  It doesn't look like Bobby to me for some reason.

Getting way off topic but I have to say that it looks more like Waltrip to me than it does Bobby.  Probably means I need to step away fro thekeyboard for a while huh?

Hey Doug, your mom doesn't look too thrilled in the picture of the Bird. I take it she was ready to head to the hotel and you wanted to stay out a bit longer that night.

pettybird

we were in Grand Haven MI after the Frankenmuth meet a couple years back, and were just about ready to go back to stay with Mike and Joyce Partridge near Grand Rapids.  I think mom was reading.  We'd walked all over the beaches, swam, and checked out a couple of the lighthouses.  We used to live in SW Michigan just below St Joseph, so it was a little taste of my early childhood again.  Me, mom and the Superbird...I guess that's a pretty big chunk of my younger days.   :yesnod:
