ALL of those other brand car owners are just jealous that they drive bland and to numerous cars like 66 stangs. Only MOPAR had the wildest cars and colors at the height of the muscle car era. :Twocents:   Jay.

Way to go Troy!!  I haven't been on the site for awhile, so I am just catching up.  Very cool trade.  I think the Yellow looks great on a 500.  Is that the original color?  If I can ever get someone interested in my 68 Hemi Charger maybe I can put a Daytona in the garage next to my 500 also.  Again, way to go!!!

Yes Chris, Y2 is the original color to the C500.. I think it might very well look great next to an V2 orange car... Let me email someone I know with multiple Daytonas and see if he'd be interested in hemi-trade...

Larry & I tried the two-fer with our cars.  Every quote I got was for both cars separate.  No breaks were to be found.  :-\

Makes for another Y2 winged 500

Yeap, the C500 I'm getting was yellow when it started its Daytona clone quest. Don't believe it was ever reddish in color.....

Dave,
I stand corrected, you are right, the candy apple C500 is indeed the C500 I'm getting. You recollection is remarkable. It was just confirmed by the current owner who saw the picture. It is from 1980... And it is a Superbird wing on it at that time...  Even tunnel ram through the hood.......

Hey Troy, as much as I love both the C500's and the Tona's the in in-betweener just doesn't work for me.

Good luck on getting the car.

The 500 sporting the tunnel ram reminds me of the 80ish cars seen in popular hot rod magazines
