Charger 500 dealer list?

Is there a master dealer list for the Charger 500's like there is for the Daytona's? Last summer when I bought my C500, the seller gave me one of those reproduction window stickers he had bought. He said they made it from the info off the build sheet. They list the selling dealer as Northland Dodge in Columbus Ohio and I just wondered if there was anyway to verify if thats correct, or if they just picked a local dealer when they were making the window sticker.  They don't even list the car as a 500, just an R/T, so I'm having my doubts about the accuracy of the selling dealer too.

I've been trying to contact previous owners, and I found out the car was owned buy a guy named Bob Goldsberry in Washington Court House, Ohio until around 1981/82. I did get in contact a guy named Bob Goldsberry, but he's the cousin of the guy who owned my car. He has no contact info for his cousin, but he said he'd try to find it for me. Hopefully he can, as I'd like to talk to him. Supposedly, the car has been in Ohio it's whole life. It was Bob's daily driver, and he worked at one of the local auto parts stores in Washington Court House. The car used to be parked out in front whenever he was working. I'd like to find out some more history on the car, maybe get some old photos, and more importantly find out what ever happened to the original transmission...

Well, that's good to hear. Hopefully there's a list like that for Ohio. Is that a typo on that list, it seems 162292 is on there twice?

Theres been cars even on the daytona shiplist that went to 2 different dealers with same vin .Seeing it happen with 500s doesnt surprise me

There is a dealer shipment list for the C500's from what I've heard. I have seen a few pages of it but I have not been privy enough to see the entire list.

As far as the window sticker is concerned its not uncommon for the earlier C500's to have their window stickers list the car as a XS (Charger R/T). The later Charger 500's had XX on their window stickers and even had a different base price for the start of the sticker. I only have a handful of window stickers though to compare it to, but its not unheard of.

Still blows my mind that information like this is kept under lock-n-key.. I guess there's issues that would/could be raised if the truth was known, and that's not to say the current idea on production numbers isn't correct......

It doesn't seem to serve the hobby well.  But then again, my personal opinion is that the list is being hidden from the world more to satisfy a single individuals wants and needs than any other alleged "issues" with having the real production numbers known.

If you have any buildsheets or rare car info to offer .Thats what I did for years .And asked if it would be possible to get a run down on 500s from my parts of town to look up local friends cars
