So, I have a chance to pick up a Rallye dash and guages out of a 68 Charger parts car.  Will the Frame and cluster, fit in a 69 Coronet?

Brock Lee

Yeah, the frame will go in. That whole firewall/cowl area is universal on the same era B bodies.

The wiring harness is different due to the Rally gauges. As mentioned, it will physically fit.

Troy
Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

think your going to have to weld /or rivit  on  metal tabs !!  on the non rallye  coronet dash , for mounting the rallye gauge cluster  :yesnod: :popcrn:

That is why you swap the whole dash. But then I guess you run into that whole tampering with the VIN thing.

I think of the dash as the entire assembly (frame, pads, gauges, etc.) so that would work. Fitting just a gauge cluster into a non-rally dash would be pretty hard.

I forgot to add that i am getting the frame, insert and the wiring harness, sorry guys.  I can probably take my VIN and rivit it back on if need be.
