Dug out the complete hemmings collection I got from early 70-s to current.Found this ad .There are many aero cars in these magazines as well as 1 off Chrysler show and rare cars .You see aero car ads with vins and certain descriptions familar names .And find cars you know that are now matching numbers at this current time and date. Back when the archive ads sold it as a rolling shell damaged etc etc.And Im curious as to how many cars for sale at that time and areas they were in the greatest numbers

This so far is the only ad that matches with that Terry Klute name and WA state

Dave,

In the old, old club records, do you show any record of a Daytona once owned by T. Klute  or Terry Klute in Washington state?

Thanks

This car so far is the only Wa state ad and T Klute ad I ran across

Found a better version of Mopar Chris Hemi 500 80-s Hemmings

Yes, this is my old 500, currently owned by moparchris.  My brother and I sold it to R C Long in January, 1983.  He advertised it later that same year, sold it, then got it back again.

I really enjoy looking back at the old ads.  Everyone says how cheap the prices are, but gas was also only between 30 and 50 cents a gallon.  Everyone thinks these cars were everywhere back then.  Not true the first club I was in had about 85 members and there was only 1 hemi car and 2 six pack cars and this was in 1972.  Here are a couple of ads.  They were for new cars in the Seattle Times newspaper.  Enjoy them as I have.  Yo, SBBob
