Me too. What I do is sort of twist the lanyard in a way that it remains in an upward position and then I insert the pin/clip into the post. The lanyards don't flop down onto the hood and rub it, that stay up. The force of the wind over the nose as well keep the lanyard loops up....

Yeah, I think I'd have to get some whiskey dents & a few years of rock chips before I put the lanyards on such fresh, beautiful rides.

I do like Troy says with my purple car.  Twist them so they're vertical.  Owner before me didn't seem to care so there's rub marks.

Jason, I'll take a close up of what I'm talking about, but I don't let the lanyard end be position on the clip at the big loop, I twist and then position the lanyard in front of the post and then slide the clip in. When I get back from Church (figures a gearhead is in charge of parking traffic detail, but I love it), I'll take a picture and/or video..........

Was hoping to make it to mopars in the park this weekend but cannot find a shop to align front end in time!  :'( oh well. story of my life. i have it close but dont want to drive it all the way to show with alignment done with tape measure! anyways a picture...and reluctantly posting video of first short drive down street and back. was first time on road...

remember that was first drive was checking for leaks and other problems. tranny was 2 quarts low added fluid after video. car runs hot! so thinking i need to replace housing and pump! :brickwall: its a PRW housing, pump came with it but water flow seems very low. so....i will order different parts tonight in hopes it runs cooler.

did a 2nd test drive today with my youngest in car(she is 16) :) yes 2nd test run.... :D i honestly barely touched gas pedal seriously! :o thing has scary power!
