I have been using the same double flare kit for doing brake lines for many years. (I was a NYSI shop for years).  Until the other day it never let me down. The most commonly used size is 3/16. I cannot lock a 3/16 tube in my bar any longer. The knurls are just plain shot. Then I tried a 5/16 to make up a set of tranny cooling lines. NOPE..
So here is my question, Who has been there and found a very good kit? At this stage of the game I don't want to spend another $130.00 on a kit, BUT I do want one that will last me for the few lines I may make up over the next bunch of years...  So what do you have and realllly like??
