What are the external identifying marks on an LA engine ?  :shruggy:

the 360's had weighted front harmonic balancers, all the others engines I have had to look at block numbers in front under the head on the pads.

all 273's had single plane intakes...I think

Right under the head on the front of the block ?

Driver or passenger side ?

Is it a code, or is it the displacement?

318, 340, etc, ?

Ghoste

Look just below the head on the left side of the block and near the front.

The displacement will be included in the block casting number.
