Found this copy of Hemmings Muslce Machines - Nov. 2010 issue.  It features Sean Machado's 69 Daytona.  This car is known to me as it was Greg Peck's and was a Talledega in 1999.

Greg's Daytona is parked next to my Superbird - Talledega 1999.

good article, Glad to see the Daytona back with its original family.
I did enjoy the tonka trucks ripping the headliner story

Greg often told the story of how Sean remembered riding in the back seat of the car.  Makes me envious as I would LOVE to find my Dad's 64 Savoy.

When the Daytona was silver was the center horizontal wing polished aluminum? I thought it was?

Hay Bob,  You know Greg Peck was just borrowing the car for a while.... haha..   Are you coming down to Mopar's at the Strip or the Spring Fling in Van Nuys with the gang?   I talked to Lolley and Keay and looks like they are down for a road trip..  But then again,  they always are..
Caution.... Low flying aircraft.

The horizontal was actually chromed.  Why he did that on a silver car I have no idea.  I should ask him.  But then agian I won't.  I will get stuck on the phone... :brickwall:

I don't thing Las Vegas or Vanuys are in the cards this year.  Would LOVE to be there, but still doing some final touches on the Bird this year.  We are planning for the shows in 2012 and hope to be ready by then.  Very glad that the Daytona ended up back home.  Enjoyed Joe's visit to the Northwest (Seattle) show last year, always a pleasure to see him again.  People were amazed that he was towing a trailer with the Daytona!
