well I piece costs a lot and if its in nice shape like you said, it can be worth 700 bucks alone. so for 1700 i think price is right for nice grille

Its hard to top the look of a clean grille. The reaction to my '69 Changed considerably when I re-grilled it. It was in my case almost as big as an improvement as a new paint job.

You can get nice repo I pieces for under $200 now so the days of $700 originals are no longer the only choice.
