How are the reproduction shifters from BEA/PGC?  I am looking to get a new shifter and linkage setup for my car (auto).

No issues installing mine on the 68 works OK. The old one was corroded so badly I was told that it would not be worth the trouble to replate it.

Mine was loosey goosey, you could wiggle the shifter shaft in any gear (she wouldn't change gears, but she wasn't tight).  It seems that the gap on the bottom of the shifter shaft where the spring and metal tab that sticks out of the shaft to catch on the shift plate was widened through excessive use.  I assume getting a new one will be nice and tight?
