Forgive me as I'm getting old and my mind isn't what it once was...and that's not saying much either.   ::)

Someone at T'ga talked to me about trading their C500 for my Daytona.  Figured if he's not on this board, someone else probably knows who it was.

BTW...in case you're wondering, I hate Florida.

Wasn't that either Steve (F8 440 4-speed) or Danny (R4 440 auto)? I remember you talking to someone about this...
Troy
'69 Charger Daytona 440 auto 4.10 Dana ( now 426 HEMI )
'70 Superbird 426 Hemi auto: Lindsley Bonneville Salt Flat world record holder (220.2mph)
Houston Mopar Club Connection

I can tell you it wasn't blue.   :-\
I don't know why I'm thinking yellow and beige.   :scratchchin:
Guess I'll have to dig through the old T'ga threads and relive the experience.

Dunno.  I know he was looking to "upgrade" and I'm now looking for more garage space.

Legendary motor car has a link with all the cars from that show and others .You might pin point that particular car or see a owners name.

HEY It was me. Or at least I had talked to you about it a few times before Talladega as well as when we were down there. I even parked next to you in the photo and stood in between the two cars so that I could say that even if we did do a swap that I was next to my car.

If your still thinking about it let me know. That is unless your thinking of another C500. We even headed out from Talladega together and drove pretty much together all of the way up to Kentucky.

Your reaction is more restrained than I would have expected.......  or are you on the phone now?   :popcrn:

I've never really cared much about color.  I DO have a soft spot for those blue chargers though.  I could certainly have my head turned by a blue charger with a white stripe.  Just something about that combo that makes me weak in the knees.

..and I guess I'll be taking the REST of this conversation offline.   :icon_smile_big:

I'm going to take a stab in the dark and think that you still have the same cell phone number? I'll be giving you a call.

Good luck Danny, a deal between y'all might work out the best for both!  :popcrn:

LOL.   I'd have my ORIGINAL cell phone if they didn't FORCE me to get a new one when they eliminated analog cell phones.  Ask my other half some time and he'll tell you that I get rid of NOTHING (unless it's his stuff).

BTW...thanks to those who tried to help my failing memory.  For some reason I was thinking F8 and a beige interior...so the reality is a VERY pleasant surprise but maybe that was the last time I was thinking of cleaning out the garage.   :shruggy:
