I am getting very frustrated here.  I have a 68 charger 440 with mp electronic ignition conversion.  Now the problem is that my volt gauge goes to the negative side, I have replaced everything there is, it was fine for a few weeks then did it again.  I have replaced the voltage regulator, ballast resistor, coil, alternator, battery is fully charged.  I have checked all connections and everything is good as far as I can see but I will check that again.

Thanks
Josh

Checked all your grounds .Regulator alternator mounting points require good grounds. At regulator with a 12 volt testlight you getting power from blue wire from Ign and to green wire going to alternator field.Check connections at amp gauge and check firewall bulkhead connection points.Terminals need to be be clean and tight

Have you checked the ammeter terminal nuts for tightness?
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.
