Year one has two different ones ,standard and premium. What's the difference? I had some from somewhere but, they were flat and I had no idea/way to put them on. I am talking about the rear inner ones here mostly. Would like the kind with a lip.
God must love stupid people....he made a sh**load of 'em....

hmmm think i'm getting mixed up  :-\  but   the inner only has a bush type wiskas , hence the name  !  the outer has a rubber edge that should wipe or sit very close on the glass  :scratchchin: :popcrn:

How did they attach to the inner metal piece?

they don't  thet are attached to the upper quarter inner trim pad  , with industrial fired staples ,  , just use tiny self tapping screws , with a little sealer dopped on the back incase the screw loosens over time  :Twocents:

Now that you mention it I remember the staples. I would be worried the screws would hit the glass>

Small screws work fine, that's how mine were when I got the car.  They don't hit the glass.
