As a conversation piece, I will bet you can have as much fun (or more) with that rusty crusty Bird as a concours restored car.

Now THAT was funny
( only because I was there during that deluge) .

But unfortunately it was like that before it started raining

That car is much worse than it looks in the photo.   I looked in the trunk and there was literally nothing there... :o

Great conversation piece though.  :2thumbs:

Hey guys, yes the " Crusty Rusty" got a lot more attention than my restored Bird. It was amazing how much attraction that car created. It should be known that i am no longer the owner. A fellow from Long Island, NY just had to have the car. Made a deal & he left with it on Sat. He had more vision than i going forward. Sorry to see it go , but ........... Sending some pics ( to follow )

is there any way you can share with us the persons name who bought it?  I live on long island and wondering who it is.

Troy

Man, I have never seen so many "experts" around a car. I'm not very knowledgeable about details (especially on Birds) yet I knew most were full of BS. Probably why I never sit next to any of my cars...

Troy
Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

I'm not real sure what is holding this 'Bird together.....  :shruggy:

I do, the wing held the sides in, the fender tag held the nose to the fire wall, & the grass underneath was stiff enough to keep the body from resting on the tires.
