I had the chance to find out a few months ago that my jack and base went together like oil and water (http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,80067.msg900322.html#msg900322). I attached a few photos of the offending parts, and would like to know which, if either, is correct for my Dec '67 built Charger. The jack frame is approximately 1-1/4" wide while the base opening is approximately 1" wide. Thanks.

Your base looks kind of funky. I'll get a tape measure and take some pics of my unit ( ;)) and get back to you.

Like I said, I think your base is wrong. :shruggy: All the following measurements were taken from the 2 and the slot in the base is roughly 1/16" larger than the bottom end of the jack.

Good info. Thanks, Curtis. Now I just need to find a proper base....

Or just hog that one out with a Dremel tool or angle grinder with a carbide rasp.
