472 R/T SE, ghbanked Hauler, Budnicks , Daytona R/T SE - thank guys for the encouragement - this build wore me out -

This is to document how to get a Modman, and any HEMI intake besides the stock lower profile one. I gained about 2 to 3 inches and have plenty of room under the hood. This MODMAN Indy intake is top rated, and allows for 4, 6, 8 barrels and a blower all in time.

Also, for what it is worth - taking order for wings - for summer run.

Hood center piece cut out $Free.00

Base from Stinger Fiberglass base 100.00

Base cut outs to allow carb high places to poke through to allow for the base to drop an inch

Six pack air cleaner lid– 100.00

Schumacher HEMI conversion B Body K-frame – They were the nicest thing that went on the car.

I used plug from - like the plug get you get in a kit - at and auto parts store that plugs up carb openings, I still have to get that foamy thing that covers up behind it. Also, I just plugs the water heater send and return - never use a heater - it just gets In the way. I goal was to make it a very clean uncluttered engine bay. I love engine bays -  I detail everything. If you see the V-reg All you have to do is put it on a buffing wheel, and they chrome out good.

Dane, mighty fine job sir.

Ever see that TV show "19 Kids And Counting"?

How 'bout it Dane?  Start up your own reality series, "10 Daytonas' & Counting"?

So...what's easier?  Raising a dozen & a half kids' or building 10, 11 or however many you've built Dane?
I know when I sold the red one I made the mistake of mentioning you had built 9 of them already & 70% of the questions I got were how to get a hold of you.

Dane, may I ask what is used on your heater core pipes coming out of the firewall.
Also the top of the water pump.  Did you cap the nipples or not use them at all & run 2 plugs?

thanks in advance

Dodge Boy

Hi Dane, how much for a wing?  Thanks Terry

Daytona Guy

$1900.00 plus shipping.

This is the letter (below) to the guys who are on order now...

Wings,

I'm going to put in the order in the next two weeks for wings. If you are still interested, I will need $950.00 upfront, this is what the foundry needs as a down payment. Then within the next three months we will pop these things out. So I will be doing them in either the order that I receive down payments, or when someone contacted me first :) The total cost will be 1900.00 plus shipping that seems to vary from location from 125.00 to 165.00.

When your wing in completed I will contact you for the remaining $950.00 plus shipping, once received, the wing will ship.

If you have any questions, let me know.

$850 x 2 payments = $1700, or $200 less than you just quoted them at

Base from Stinger Fiberglass base 100.00

Dane, thanks for posting this.

I have a dual quad intake for a 440 that I was hoping to use with an air grabber hood & was wondering how I was going to mate the carbs up to the air box. This base looks like it will allow me to do it & for $100 it's worth a try.
