This is a car I found back in 1985-87 in Carberry, Manitoba, Canada.
The present owner bought this car "as is" with an original Daytona Nosecone from a car that was purposely burnt!

I sent this into Maple Leaf Mopars "Cars in Barns" quite awhile ago...

And the builder chimed in on how and when he built the car...

And now it's for sale...maybe the nose should be seperated from this clone and re-united with a Daytona in need?

The owner - Jack Lupton (Editor of the local newspaper) told me he bought it for $3500 "way back when"....

So I guess offer something more than $3500!! :icon_smile_big:

DAY CLONA

Looks like it needs the rear window plug, correct lower valance, fender scops......$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

UFO

Here's what the interior looks like.

FJMG

When I spoke to him in the 80's he believed it was real and wanted at least as much money as a real daytona. I see he now lists it as a clone.  :2thumbs: I wonder what are the odds that the cone is from the missing second Century Dodge Daytona (PW car) or the missing Steinbach Dodge car.

Mopar John

This is the type of clone that I thought that Carl the original owner with the wrecked Daytona could look for. He could have put the original on his original and got another for the clone and drove it or re-sold it. Recently I read that Carl is having his original nose repaired.
