Exactly, and typical   ::)

What's more confusing is that the auction says Spring 2011. I don't see it the Fall auction listing or the E-catalog.

Weird, if you do a specific search for "Plymouth" it won't come up, but it does when I scroll through each page or sort by Make.

I had a 55 chevy and i dont remember it ever having an "x" in the frame.  and i'm pretty sure the shoebox frames were the same for all 3 years.

Convertible frame has an extra X brace that the hardtop does not have.

  It looks like a Ford 9" rear to me. Its not an 8:75 and not a DANA as it doesn't have a cover on the back of it. :shruggy:

A '58 frame is a true X design.  No perimeter side members at all.

It is a 9" Ford.

that's the stock 8.2" gear Chevrolet axle.

I forgot about the X brace on the convertibles--I should shimmy under the Nomad here and see if it has one...

I will bet you a Galley Boy lunch at Swenson's that the Nomad does not have an X brace.

Well, it's a restomod and I didn't know if one got swapped in.

Swenson's is fine but if we find ourselves in your neck of the woods we can make it a Maria's Pizza!
