The #28 body was on the car restored as the Pete Hamilton #40.   Nice to see it got saved.

we were about to drop we were up and on the road about 3 am and got home at 11 pm.....needless to say very tired.

You can drool hopefully this summer, we hope to try to have it running and out a bit.

Mopurr

will try to do more photoes as we get things all out and as time goes along

I am trying to get in contact with previous drivers and or their family members

Aero426

Making vroom vroom noises.

The car is pretty much complete less engine, trans and rear gear.    It last ran at Texas World Speedway in 1976.   They blew their last engine and parked the car.    It's changed hands a couple times between then and now.   It is definitely a car originally built by Nichels Engineering.

Doug, are the axles race specific or do they fit anything else--need a pair.

Axles are race specific.   Are they missing?
